Dr. Mark J. Heller grew up in Fair Lawn, NJ. He graduated from Rutgers University in 1976 where he studied biology. He continued his education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) from which he received his DMD degree in 1979. Following dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Heller has been a volunteer attending at the LIJ dental clinic for over 30 years.
Dr. Heller has been in private practice in Great Neck, NY since 1981. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, and achieved his fellowship degree in 1985. Dr. Heller is also a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and the Nassau County Dental Society. He furthers his dental education by taking numerous continuing education courses throughout the year. In addition, Dr. Heller was the official dentist for the New York Mets from 1997-2003.
When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Heller enjoys making Fiber One cookies, playing tennis, running, and spending time with his lovely wife, three beautiful daughters, and his adorable granddaughter.
Dr. Arielle Heller grew up in Port Washington, New York. She graduated from Cornell University in 2007 where she studied Nutritional Sciences. She received her DDS degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in 2011. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Arielle Heller completed a General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital where she was Chief Resident. She followed her residency with a two year Fellowship in Implant Dentistry and Advanced Prosthetics.
Dr. Arielle Heller is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Nassau County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In her free time, Dr. Arielle Heller enjoys healthy cooking and baking, exercising, exploring NYC, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her family.
